About DinkCard: what the platform does and its limits
DinkCard is a digital service platform focused on access to supported online purchases from Ethiopia. It connects verification, service requests, local price review, orders and support rather than issuing cards as a bank.
Why we focus on practical online purchasing
People in Ethiopia may need to pay for services that use international payment methods or require a specific merchant account. DinkCard makes supported digital products easier to discover and order with prices presented before checkout.
Customers should know both what is available and what is restricted. Merchant acceptance, supplier stock and third-party risk decisions can change; no service guarantees every purchase will succeed.
What happens through our platform
We provide customer registration, relevant verification flows, an order dashboard, and records of payments and fulfillment. For supported virtual cards, underlying card operations are performed through separate card-provider infrastructure.
For eligible eGift or subscription products, supplier fulfillment is reflected in customer orders. Some orders may require additional review and are not immediately delivered when a payment is initiated.
Clear pricing and responsible security
DinkCard presents applicable price and fee information before an eligible action is confirmed. Estimated ETB tools are educational; the final quote is the one shown in checkout.
We require accurate information and provide card-control and support routes appropriate to the service. Never send a full card number, CVV, password or verification code in a support message.
What DinkCard is not
DinkCard is not a bank, direct card issuer, card network, payment gateway, stored-value wallet or remittance service. Platform credit is limited to permitted DinkCard services, and provider terms can limit what can be funded or purchased.
