How DinkCard works from signup to delivery
DinkCard connects account verification, local payment instructions, supported virtual cards and digital products in one customer dashboard. Exact steps differ by service; always use the current checkout instructions.
Step 1: Register and secure your account
Create an account with your own name, phone number and email address. Verify your email as requested and choose a strong, unique password. Never share sign-in codes with a seller or support impersonator.
Some services require identity verification before card-related operations are available. Submitting documents does not guarantee the provider will approve a card request.
Step 2: Choose the service you need
For a virtual card, review provider requirements and card creation charges. For an eGift or subscription, select the precise product, denomination, duration and region shown in the live catalog.
DinkCard account credit and a virtual-card balance are separate. If you want to spend with a card, you may need both an eligible card and a separate funding operation.
Step 3: Review the final quote
Before authorizing a payment, confirm the actual amount, recipient, applicable service fee and any gateway charge. A general calculator can help you estimate ETB amounts but does not replace your checkout quote.
Use the payment method and reference shown on the current checkout. Avoid sending money to an unsolicited personal account or taking payment instructions solely from a social-media direct message.
Step 4: Track the outcome
Payment completion and service fulfillment may be two different events. After checkout, inspect the order or card-request status in your account. A pending state may mean settlement or delivery is not yet complete.
If a process fails, gather the order number and a short description and contact official support. Do not disclose CVV, full card numbers, PINs or passwords.
